Commentary of Noh “SUMIDAGAWA” by Robert Campbell
Prof. Robert Campbell, whom you may have seen on TV, gives a lecture on how to appreciate the Noh play “SUMIDAGAWA” not only for the Japanese but also for the audience from overseas.

[Japanese Style Voice Training and Vocalization Experience] 13:30-14:00
Female Noh performer, Yoko Yamamura, offers a hands-on program of ancient Japanese vocalism by abdominal breathing. After mastering the basic breathing technique, the participants join a short lesson of Nenbutsu / Buddhist mantra in Noh chant of “SUMIDAGAWA” with a Noh performer of Kita school.
